Marchaj, Czesław, son of Michał and Stanisława née Mulewicz, born July 9, 1918, in Słomniki. Father was a police officer.
He attended high school in Kielce.
Marciniak Zenon
Marciniak Zenon born on March 6, 1922, in Łódź, son of Jan and Sabina née Wójkowska, from a working-class family. Before the war, he lived in Łódź and attended high school.
14 V 1940, for unknown reasons, arrested by the Gestapo and held in the Radogoszcz prison (now within the borders of Łódź), from where he was transported to the German concentration camp at Dachau, where he remained from 26 V 1940 until liberation, with the camp number 11640. During his time in the camp, he was subjected to two pseudomedical experiments conducted by German doctors (in 1941 and 1943).
In the camp, he met Bogusław Stępiński and joined his Zadruga group. He collaborated with him in Lübeck after the camp's liberation.
